Where does the 'magic' take place? A Word Wizard can fly their magic broom to a location that is most convenient for your family. We understand how busy family schedules can be with school, playdates, and extracurricular activities. That's why we come to you and your child for pediatrics services. We can arrange speech pathology sessions at your home, your child's daycare, school, public library, or even the Grandparents' house!
We offer a variety of arrangements that suit you and your child, such as 45-minute or 60-minute sessions with our 'Speechie' specialists.
These may look like the following mutually agreed arrangements:
30 minutes face-to-face with your child + 15 minutes parent education, feedback, and follow-up practice tasks explained and modeled to you. From experience, this arrangement works well for the little ones.
45 minutes of intervention with your child + 15 minutes parent education, feedback, and home practice.
60 minutes of intervention with your child with arranged check-in phone calls that include feedback, goal discussion, and progress discussion (frequency depends on how often you would like information). This is a great option if the mobile visit is to your child's educational setting.
45 minutes of intervention with your child with arranged check-in phone calls that include feedback, goal discussion, and progress discussion. This is also a great option if the mobile visit is to your child's educational setting.
We work directly with educators and stakeholders to provide the best quality of care for your child through speech pathology. This could be fortnightly, monthly, or as a one-off observation and advice session.
We also offer tailored presentations and Professional Development sessions at Early Childhood settings, Kindy, or Schools.

We support private paying, self-funded, and plan managed clients in the field of pediatrics. Our speech therapy sessions are always evidence-based, fun, and motivating. For our speech pathology services, indirect or non-face-to-face time, including note writing and planning for future sessions, is billed accordingly.
Our sessions are so finely crafted and motivating that there is a reason we are often asked by children, 'when does the 'work' begin?' at the end of the session which included completing over 100 practice trials!
We collaborate with educators, teachers, and leaders in the field of pediatrics to ensure that your everyday practices, assessments, data collection, and even room setup are most effective for meeting children's needs and successfully achieving goals and outcomes in speech and speech pathology. Absolutely not!
Extensive research notes that early intervention is key! If you aren't too sure if intervention is warranted, that's okay too. We can arrange a play-based dynamic assessment to gather this information and make the decision later.
Speech clarity is certainly something our Word Wizard can help with. It may still be age-appropriate errors or more formal support may be required. You will never know, unless we meet up for an observational play/ assessment session!
We sure do! This is our Word Wizard's passion area whether it be support with phonics, phonological awareness, reading, writing and spelling. Early literacy skills are critical, and early intervention is the best investment you can make for your child's future. Our Word Wizard also works with older clients in this space.
Please contact us directly with any questions, comments, or scheduling enquiries you may have about our pediatrics services. We are here to help!
